I love the practice of veterinary medicine.  Helping an animal to good health is a wonderful reward.  I have a special interest in orthopedic (bone) surgery and have taken many hours of advanced training in orthopedics:  including Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) certification;  the basic and advanced small animal orthopedics courses by the American Society for Internal Fixation (ASIF).  I  also take as many hours of continuing education in other fields as possible.  Recently, I have had continuing education hours in dermatology,  feline cystitis, and treatment of kidney failure in dogs and cats.

I love treating my animal patients and helping people build strong bonds with their pets. I graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and I have been practicing at Animal Care Clinic since May 2005. I enjoy all areas of veterinary medicine. My major professional interests include orthopedic surgery (especially ACL injuries and TPLO surgery), skin and ear conditions, dentistry, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine diseases, and obesity management.
